We have planned a summer full of fun and learning. Will is taking his 2nd ride along with some EMT as he is going to be hitting the books in the fall to be an EMT! Both Will and I toured the local county jail a week ago. We have started letterboxing as a family (a scavenger hunt with clues found online) and gone to several parks. And to think we still have 2 months left of fun :)
We went to a city park in town that has an animal farm and kids can ride horses and pet rabits and goats look at ducks, chickens, pigs, and a turkey.
Went to another park on Saturday with Will's family and went on a letterbox hunt and bbq. Ariana and my niece played like crazy in the splash pad and sand box.
We also decided to make a behavior chart for ariana where she earns tokens for obeying the rules. We have had our house rules but nothing written down. When we were asking Ariana to help list the house rules she named off every rule we hoped she would. Its nice to have it written down so when Ariana goes against a rule we can take her over to the board and help her look at the rules and give her tokens when needed. She is helping keep us in line too.
