So, a little bit about our past place, and our current place. The neighborhood in Everett was not the ideal neighborhood for our family. The complex only had a few kids and we did not feel secure enough to let Ariana go out and play. We usually went to the park and let her play, the complex was not very child friendly. Then there is the wonderful Sorrento 13 gang. I never saw the gang but the spray painting in the neighborhood was very obvious. Then there was the drug deals, and frequent homeless begging for money on the major intersections. There was no bars in the windows, but it was not our ideal place to raise our daughter. For the price we paid on rent you would expect a lot nicer neighborhood. Between the cost of living and the dreaded rain we had grown to really dislike Everett. The three of us were craving the sun and warmer weather, and Will and I wanted a safer neighborhood for Ariana.
Will spent a lot of time touring apartments for months. We have really put our trust in God and praying with this move. I wouldn't have agreed to move our family if I didn't know it was what we needed to do at this time. Will was really trying hard to find a house or townhome we could rent until we were ready to buy but in our desired neighborhood the price range was too high, no homes he found would accept dogs. Will did a fantastic job finding the place we decided to rent. It checks every box, and has the feel of a home. We feel this place is exactly where we should be in our life. God knows exactly what we need in our life and we are thanking him for everything happening in our life.
Many of our friends and family in Washington has asked that we keep everyone up to date on our exciting change. Not a whole lot has happened besides shopping for our new place, and unpacking. In the next several weeks we have some fun things planned. Our place is coming along, we still have boxes to unpack but its coming together nicely. We will slowly be adding some color and style to our place. Right now our place is looking nice but I can't wait until we can buy textures, color, and fun accessories. We bought the dresser to the bedroom set we want, and we will slowly be buying parts to the bedroom set and changing our bedspread so I don't have any pictures of our room as its pretty bland. The colors in our living area will be neutral colors with blue and sage green, with black accents. Ariana's bedroom is bright colors, mainly pink and purple and her bathroom is pink/purple Hello Kitty. Our bathroom is black and dark purple. Our bedroom will eventually be yellow, navy blue, with black furniture. Here are some pictures......
