This week has been pretty boring. The only fun thing we did was going to Lagoon Theme Park on Sunday with some friends. It was pretty awesome to go back to Lagoon since I haven't been there in probably 15 years. Will kept asking me where things were, like I knew my way around. The park has really changed and I got us lost looking for the Pioneer area for some food. We got there about 11:30 and left at 9:30pm. I did not get the chance to ride all the roller coasters I wanted but for what we did do it was a lot of fun. I commend Will for being a good sport as he was unable to do most of the rides. He wanted to do 2 roller coasters and waited in line with us and backed out at the last minute. I would rather have him back out then go and end up in AFib. However, going back to Lagoon made me realize that Disneyland is so much better. Not only is it cleaner, and bigger but Will can enjoy it and Ariana can go on just about every ride. We are hoping to save enough money to go back to Disneyland as a family in the spring.
After we got back from Lagoon I woke up Monday feeling horrible. I had the thought of maybe I should cancel this interview and go back to bed but I told myself to get up and get dressed. So I went to the interview, came home got in jammies and went back to bed. I stayed in bed all day Monday and most of the day Tuesday. This cold has really kicked my butt. Usually I fight the colds easily and go to work and just keep plugging along my days. This time all I wanted to do was sleep. I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. I am so proud of Ariana because she knew Mommy didn't feel well and was happy playing on the computer or watching TV for 2 days. If I had been working I knew I would have called in sick, which I don't usually do. Because I haven't been feeling well we haven't done much of anything. My job search has been held on hold and I just started looking again today. Today is a recovery day but I am pretty much up and going again. I took Ariana to the pool so I could get some vitamin D. Our building is getting repainted this week so luckily it hasn't been too loud so I could handle the noise.
