Our life is always busy... until today

Have you ever had the urge to blog, but you have no idea what to talk about? Yeah, that is pretty much me right now. So we will see how this goes.

I have pretty much had a very busy month, and now I'm so bored. Girl Scout Cookie time is going on right now and as a troop cookie manager my life revolves around cookies from Jan 1-March 28th, with a few pockets of down time. Right now is the down time. My Co-leader and I got the cookie order ready to be submitted tomorrow night. Once that order is put in the system I have two weeks for down time. I should be enjoying my down time but instead I'M SO BORED! I'm the type of person who is always on the go, and I hate not having something to keep me busy.

first weekend of sales was busy
getting ready for sales to start
I'm thinking I might have to hit up the thrift store and craft store and buy more picture frames for my wall collage. I have seen so many amazing wall collages on Pinterest I just had to do one myself. One I finish up my bedroom I am going to start working on all at for my living room and my white walled dining room. I noticed yesterday that I do not have a lot of color in my living areas and that has got to change!!! I have our wall shrine of Ariana in our living room that I want to change up a bit also. So yeah, after a very busy weeks my boredom has kicked in. I have also been in the styling mood lately, a bit obsessive with sunset pictures and fun hairstyles. I missed having a year and a half of not doing anything really fun now we are playing catch up. I have been doing a fun heart hairstyle on Ariana every day this month, until Valentines day. I gotta say, heart hairstyles is fun, but I am ready for Valentines Day I want to get back to more fun styles.
Wall decals in our bedroom
my new bedroom college, not finished yet but I have everything
hanging to get an idea of what picture will go where
A peak at my Valentines Hairstyles challenge I decided to do.
Other than cookie sales and redoing my bedroom I have really been enjoying it wonderful unseasonably warm "winter". I say "winter" because we should have a lot if snow in the ground but instead it's been in the 60's. If Mother Nature would bless Seattle with sunshine everyday, and a cheaper cost of living I would be back there in an instant. I love wearing short sleeves and jackets, going outside at 10 pm not needing a coat is amazing. Tonight I took Bear on a 15 minute walk at 9 pm and as I was walking back I got thinking how wonderful it is to live in a beautiful place, in a clean, safe neighborhood. In Everett we would open the door, let Bear go potty at night and he would come back in. I never felt comfortable enough to be out past 10 pm.
Feb 6th at 12:00pm
The last few nights I have  beautiful sunrises and sunsets the clouds and any is  beautiful here, so blue. I do miss taking pictures at Mukilteo beach during a sunset. I do miss a lot of thing in Seattle, but I think Salt Lake is finally growing on me. We have some amazing friends here, and I am so much closer to my BFF (even though I have only seen her once since the move, it is more than I saw of here when living in Seattle. We are finding that friends become like family (which I have already known), and thankful for everyone who has supported us, and has given us kind words. I know we have said it before, but really, everyone that we have met and have grown in friendship you guys are truly awesome. I wonder what God has in store for us, where we might be in 1 year or even 5 years. I honestly have no idea. I have experienced that only God knows and I am putting my trust in him.

Other than me just keeping busy and being wrapped up in Girl Scouts, Ariana has kept us busy. She is a good kid, shes sociable, and a total sweetheart. She has really adjusted well here and making a lot of friends. Kids here notice things about her and say things then she comes home and says Mom kids at school are saying this..... Today, it was Mom, kids at school say I have crooked teeth. My response is, tell them, yes I do and I will be needing braces in the next few years. I am trying to teach her that even when kids point out things that she is beautiful, and unique but its okay! She seems to be turning into a teen years to early. She is worried about her looks, and what people think of her. I wonder if its because she is somewhere new and still trying to be accepted, I dunno, but that is what I like to think.

Will, well, what is new with him??? He went through a dreaded training at work. He was not at all looking forward to the training. He called me at 3:00 last week and my thought was 3:00, oh no why is he calling me. But he called to tell me that he took the test and he passed with flying colors! Huge sigh of relief. He hated the class because a kid (younger adult, I am thinking maybe 19-21) was bullying him at work. Turns out the kid got kicked out of class and fired. Things started looking up for Will at work and I have not heard a negative comment about work since. He started the new job and seems to be liking it, again, no complaints is good news. He was afraid of taking the new job because he thought it would be to stressful, but he does not seem to stressed. Right now Will is still in school, YES! I am seriously praying he finishes school. It would be the biggest blessing to see him with an education, and his self worth will be through the roof! For the most part he is understanding it and passing class with B's. Not bad, since he has not been back to school in years. Next semester he has math which is going to be difficult but with assistance and a blessing I think he will be fine. He could use all the prayers for next semester.

Okay so I looked and this post has ended up being pretty long. I think everyone got a good glimpse into our life lately. Crazy, and fun. For now, see ya!
