First trip for 2015

We really missed everyone back in Seattle so we decided it was time to head back for a visit. Our main purpose for the trip was for a missionary farewell. It is Will's best friend's son and Bryce was in our wedding as our ring bearer, and his younger sister was our flower girl. They were so young and cute back then, and Bryce has grown up to be a wonderful young man and missionary. Bryce's younger brother is 18 and sister is 16!!! Seriously though, where has the time gone, am I really this old?!?!

Since we were in Seattle we had to drop by the Chateau and say hi to everyone, and my brother had no idea we were in town so it was great to surprise him! My Mom and sister were going to be out of town so we saw them once, for dinner at Olive Garden. While we were in town we got to see several of our friends, and spent several days with Ariana's best friend and her family. We had fun hanging out at the beach, going out to lunch, dinner, and games. Ariana surprised her Best Friend while she was selling Girl Scout cookies, the reaction is priceless. Since we arrived in town all Ariana kept asking for was her friend so we set it up to pop on by the day we got in town.

We couldn't have gone to Seattle without having dinner at Ivars and a stop at Mukilteo Beach and Park. Grandma had a blast having us for a visit, and missed Ariana so much she made sure the Easter Bunny had made a visit every morning we were there. The Easter Bunny made chocolate trails throughout the house and at the end of the trail a little gift was hiding somewhere nearby. Bear loves chocolate and ice cream (yes we know chocolate is bad for dogs) and he escaped the room we were in and went sniffing for the chocolate. Before we know it I get woken up by Will saying Bear at chocolate! My first thing was, well why was chocolate in his reach? Then I discovered the Easter Bunny had come. Now Ariana is telling all her friends that the Easter Bunny came to visit her while she was in Washington. One friend got mad because she thought Ariana was lying and I said no really, while she was in Washington the bunny went hopping through the neighborhood and saw a visitor and had to visit while she was there. That girl has so much candy, maybe he doesn't have to come this year?! Nah, he will still make a visit, I would have a very disappointed 7 year old if the Easter Bunny didn't show up!

We got to Seattle Thursday afternoon and left early Monday morning. The trip flew by too quickly, and now we are ready for another vacation. Leaving was sad, especially watching Ariana cry when she said bye to her friend, Auntie Noelle , Grandma and Grandpa. Luckily, summer will be here quick and we will be seeing everyone again!

We grabbed some family pictures while we were there.
Will and his sister Noelle
The missionary and his Aunt
The missionary and his family. Such an amazing family.
The missionary and his younger sister
Ivars! Will's shrimp and chips and my Halibut and chips (I am allergic to hard shelled seafood but I wish I could try his food! If you visit Seattle Ivars is a must! Fish is caught fresh daily from Alaska and off the Pacific Coast.
We were able to finally listen to some decent radio shows
The Easter Bunnies first visit
Mukilteo Beach
Ariana decided she wanted to hold open the door also, and do a hand clapping game with the hostess at Olive Garden. My child is not shy at all!
We ordered an appetizer- calamari, cheese sticks and stuffed mushrooms. Ariana ate the WHOLE dish so a kids meal ended up being a $13 entree. Dang child!
Everyone asks where this little one gets her red hair. She gets tired answering because she thinks everyone should know she gets it from Nawna (my Mom). Although I always have to credit Will's family also because they have red hair also, just not this color, its more strawberry blonde. But without them, we wouldn't have this adorable little redhead.
