today was Ariana school "sneak a peek"night. we got to meet her teacher, some kids in her class, see the school garden and do a bbq hot dog dinner. it still blows my mind that i am sending her off to kindergarten. where has the time gone?
Ariana school is half day, she is going in the afternoon. there are 26 kids in her class. the school has a garden with an urban farmer that comes in once a week and helps with keeping the garden maintained. families are encouraged to come in once a week and harvest the crops. we are super excited for the harvesting. its going to be so nice to have fresh veggie and fruit each week. I've had mixed feeling on Ariana attending her new school as she had been in the same school for preschool. after tonight i feel confident that she will have a great start on her educational career.
tomorrow is kindergarten orientation then Thursday is her official first day of school.
