Yes, we are very behind on teaching Ariana to ride her bike. I think she is the only 4 year old in the complex that isnt riding a bike (or so she says).
Last year Ariana got her bike for her birthday. Soon after she got her bike the monsoon season started and she would ride the bike with help in the house. Then the tires went flat and we stalled on pumping up the tires. Every time we went to WalMart we said we would get Fix-A-Flat but always forgot. I made a point on Monday to go to Walmart and buy it. And of course waiting 10 months to finally learn how to ride her bike she could. She chose to ride her bike over going to the movies with me. Luckly she has not overgrown her bike and it will last until the end of the summer :)
I forgot that my camera can only be tilted one way so sorry the videos are the wrong way. The first video is her very first day of riding her bike (Monday). The second video is her tonight (Wed- 2 days later). Yes, I know, I am a HORRIBLE Mom and she does not have a helmet and knee pads on but over the course of a year she has grown out on them. We will be heading out and buying her new pads. I figure while she is learning I am standing next to her and I have saved every almost-fall.
