We received tickets in the mail from girl scouts to attend Girl Fest, which is put on by girl scouts.
We were supposed to go with 2 other moms and their daughters, but one mom got sick so it was just Ariana and I with Julie and her daughter Caita. I have felt like crap for 2 days but know how much Ariana was looking forward to going so I got over it the best I could, but by 1:30 I was pooped and ready to head out. But a new boy band Invasion was going to preform at 3:40 so we stuck it out so the girls could watch the concert. I muff really be getting old because Taylor Swift, and boy band just don't phase me anymore.
We arrived promptly at 11:00 and let the girls do am inflatable obstacle course, 4 Seattle Seahawks inflatables, a book reading inside a blow up fish, listen to concerts, watch acrobatics, go to to every vender booth. I heard onthe news there was just over 8,000 girls and parents. We got ideas for our troop, and outings. Lots of freebies, and drawings. so many activities, and it was all based around girls.
Pretty cool, a fun, free girls day out. After Girl Fest Julie invited us to the aquarium as she has season tickets and friends passes.
Now that I an home until Tuesday afternoon my days will be spent in bed watching TV, working in homework, trying you feel better.
