Today is day 5 of our trip. It has been a fun, relaxing, yet- busy at times- trip.
We arrived into town at 9:00 am, got our rental car, and headed to Sills Cafe for breakfast. The rental car was nice- we paid for a basic compact car and had a coupon for a free double upgrade but when we picked up the car we got a free upgrade again so we paid for the bottom line car and drove away with a 2012 Nissan Altima with 703 miles on it. The car was soooo roomy I could easily fit 3 carseats in the car. I actually fit 2 carseats and 1 adult with plenty of room in the back. The car is a key-less car. Basically I had a door locked and it has bluetooth and when the "key" is in close proximty to the car it sences the key and I press the break and press a button to turn on the car. CRAZY! I then went to fill the car up with gas and stopped it at $50, now I dont want a full size car because the tanks are bigger and costs more to fill up. Anyways, after breakfast we went over to my grandmas house and relaxed and hung out. It was awesome, my grandma has a neighbor with a little girl Ariana's age and they played together the whole day. We ate lunch outside and all sat around in the sun watching all the kids play (6 in all) while all the adults hung out outside chatting. It was 73 degrees and we got sunburns.
On Thursday we just hung out at my grandma's house for most of the day. In the evening I went to a cousins house and we had a nice bbq and let the kids have fun playing.
Friday we went to Provo to see a friend for the day. We watched the friends kids while she went to an appointment, went to University Mall and let the kids play then went to her house hung out and chatted then went to pick up dinner and bbq, talked some more and went back to my cousin's house.
Saturday we went to Hogle Zoo with an extended family member and her family and had a lot of fun there! We then went to The Living Planet Aquarium for several hours and went out for pizza. We hung out at the friends house for an hour or so and headed back to my cousins house. We wanted to go to a play but decided since the play started at 8:00 we were exhausted we wanted to just go to sleep, both Will and Ariana were asleep by 9:30 and I was asleep by 11:30.
Today is Easter. We decided to not go to church today because we were just too exhausted and needed our sleep. So we slept in and hung out for an hour, got the food ready for the picnic and went to my Grandma's house to let Ariana do an egg hunt. At 3:30 we headed to the park where we met my Grandma, 2 Aunts, 1 Uncle, 4 cousins, My Uncles financee and her 3 kids and thier families, each one of my cousins boyfriends or in-laws. There was a good group of 22 people or so. After that we went to my Aunts house for an hour or so got back to my cousins house while Will and Ariana went to bed early.
So far, so fun :)
3 more days of fun in the sun!!!
